CEILING DESIGN

There are many ceiling treatments that range from dramatic, to a ‘dusting of color’ that hints at itself from above.
We do ceiling finishes ranging from well selected colors, to high polished Italian Plaster to reflect the chandelier light into the room, to fully fledged art murals overhead. Ask us about it.
ITALIAN PLASTER
ITALIAN PLASTER – AKA - Venetian Plaster, came to the USA from Italy in the 1980s and launched a decorating revolution! This unique plaster, as fine as talcum powder, is applied to walls, and ceilings with a steel trowel in anywhere from 6 – 10 coats of translucent layers, that wind up looking like marble, stone or glass., in the color of your choosing. People can’t stop touching it. It’s sensual, remarkable, beautiful, and DURABLE.

STENCILED VENETIAN PLASTER
Our company has been in more magazine editorials (35~!) for Venetian Plaster Stenciled or Frescoed, than for any other finish we do. There is nothing quite like the ethereal beauty of a color waxed Italian Plaster design. The best news is that it’s not just gorgeous - waxed plaster is also washable and incredibly durable – Not to mention, the pattern possibilities are endless.

MARBLING IN VENETIAN PLASTER
There is no more exquisite design element on earth than marble. But as Italians figured out years ago, it cannot be logistically added anywhere and everywhere we want it. Then he exotic marble of your choosing may be prohibitively expensive, if it’s available at all. Along came ‘Marbling in Italian Plaster’, developed by our own founder - which technique has brought students from all over the USA and the world, to learn it from her! Still, no one finishes Italian Plaster as Marble like we can!
